summary
Pernia's Pop-Up Shop is one of India's leading luxury fashion marketplaces, bringing together the country's top designers. We designed a mobile experience that matched the elegance of the brand while making luxury shopping feel effortless.

As the product expanded into the hyperlocal social networking space, it needed an experience that appealed to students while working reliably across varying network conditions.
The challenge was to design an interface that encouraged content creation, simplified navigation, and helped users discover relevant stories from nearby colleges without overwhelming them.

Create engaging posts
Custom stickers and a streamlined publishing flow reduced the effort required to create engaging posts, encouraging more user-generated content. It targets those above 14 years of age using a primarily visual format for communication -photographs, videos and stickers in different languages ranging from Hindi to Punjabi.
Multimedia rich stories
The content experience was redesigned around immersive, full-screen stories, making it easier for students to consume visual content while keeping the interface clean and distraction-free.

Add a sticker to pictures to express emotions
Users today prefer adding a sticker to their pictures to express their emotions over typing a caption, which itself is a huge market and with the feedback we've got, Pulse has made content creation more intuitive for users.

Create and share with geo-specific community
The experience was optimized for low-bandwidth environments, ensuring users could browse and contribute content even under unreliable network conditions.
